Where are you from and where do you currently reside?
I was born and raised in San Jose, CA where I still currently reside. I am 45 minutes away from Santa Cruz Beach and just 1 hour away from the gorgeous San Francisco.

How did you decide to start blogging? What gave you the courage to go for it?
I had a blog previous to L.A. in the bay, where I shared craft projects and interiors. I had a whopping 40 followers. I ended up deleting it about a year and a half ago, and then in May of last year I decided it would be the most awesome idea ever if my best friend Ashley and I started a fashion and interior blog. We called it Pink Lemonade! After some time, we decided we wanted a blog that was more fashion-forward, so we came up with the name L.A. in the bay (L for me, A for her!). We really didn't get passionate about blogging until the beginning of September. After going to Fashion Night Out in San Francisco and meeting SO many fabulous bloggers, such as Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific, I knew I wanted to make L.A. in the bay the best that it could possibly be. I ended up being a lot more passionate about blogging than Ashley was, so I ended up claiming it as my own. And here I am today!

What can people expect when they visit your blog?
Fashion, fashion, and more fashion! When people visit my blog, I'd like to say they leave with a snapshot of who I am and what I love. I write about topics from fashion and design to my extreme love for polka dots, bows, sparkle, art, and beauty products. I also incorporate tidbits of my life and occasional outfit posts. Really, whatever I am currently obsessing over at the moment, usually winds up on my blog! What are your favorite blog posts you’ve ever written?Oh gosh, that's a toughy. Well, I really love my Rachel Zoe Inspired Halloween Costume post I made, and then when I actually executed it. And then 2011 Style Trends Round Up, 2012 Hairstyles, Je Vous Aime Paris, Make A Statement, A Well-Dressed Woman and recently, I really love the Things I'm Afraid To Tell You post I created because I got incredibly real and candid. It was nice to be able to share more about me with my readers.

What kind of camera do you use?
Unfortunately, I do not have a fancy schmancy DSLR camera. Gosh, life would be so much easier if I did. But, I am triple crossing my fingers that I am oh-so-kindly gifted one for my birthday next month! For right now, I trade off between my Canon PowerShot SD133IS and Fuji S3000. (These photos weren't shot with my camera!)

Congratulations on becoming Glitter Guide's new Summer Intern! Can you share a bit about how you received that opportunity?
Well first off, I have been a dedicated reader of Glitter Guide since they first launched June of last year. Taylor's blog was one of the first that I ever followed, even before I started mine. And last month, as I was perusing twitter, I came across a tweet from Glitter Guide that they were looking for an editorial intern who lives in the South Bay. Well, get this. I live only 15 minutes away from Taylor. Crazy, right? I ended up emailing Glitter Guide but never heard back and later found out that the position had already been filled. But, when I thought the opportunity was totally gone, Taylor emailed me telling me she was interested in having me as the summer intern. And here I am now. Still can't believe it.

Any other words of wisdom for Everygirls out there?
Stay true to who you are, what you love, and what you stand for. Have a voice and use it. Be incredibly passionate about everything that you do and when you have a dream, work effortlessly to make it a reality.
