If there is anything in this world that I love more than tacos and spicy margaritas, it would be a whole day devoted to celebrating with tacos and spicy margaritas! For some people, Christmas is their favorite holiday, for others it’s the 4th of July. For me, Cinco de Mayo is at the top of my list.

If we are going to properly celebrate this holiday, there are some facts about this day to get straight. In the United States, this day is often confused with Mexico’s Independence day.
