Event Day Support // Intern — Details Chicago

Location: Chicago, IL

Details Chicago is focused on turning dreams into reality, from events to installations to weddings. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Help with transportation, setup, execution and breakdown of events & weddings
  • Work as liaison between vendor and client on event day 
  • Ensure everything is running smoothly & to plan
  • Usher guests and give everyone appropriate information
  • Lead with kindness & a positive attitude 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • In college or recent grad looking for experience or mentorship
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car for work
  • Ability to drive a U-haul van if need be, to transport event supplies 
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs if need be 
  • Energetic, fast thinker 
  • Solution oriented
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Skills not required but a plus: Ability to speak a different language, photography, videography, good working knowledge of creating BTS content on event day for social media (tiktok & Instagram), love to create/DIY, good at installations/handy, ability to create balloon garlands and/or floral arrangements.
  • Lover of design, styling, celebrations, production (must like at least 1 to enjoy this role!)
