The perfect person for this position:

  • Is integral to building client and media relationships and overall satisfaction and success
  • Has strong public relations, project management, organizational, leadership and written and verbal communication skills
  • Monitors news coverage, trends and competitors to bring new opportunities and ideas to client teams
  • Has experience building media lists with Cision or other industry platforms

Position responsibilities:

  • Research and draft press releases and resources, including media kits, talking points and key messages, segment sheets and media training materials.
  • Compile and maintain targeted media lists, including bloggers and social influencers
  • Develop and update client editorial PR calendar
  • Report on placements and ROI
  • Represent clients at trade shows and industry events
  • Secure and coordinate media opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of PR agency experience is a MUST!
  • You write really, really well
  • It makes you squirm when someone says they’re “excited” in a press release
  • Proven ability to run multiple client projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented and reliable with a creative approach to everything you do
  • Expertise with trade and consumer media, and an ability to diagnose targeted media landscapes
  • Ability to jump in on copywriting assignments – over and above PR initiatives
  • Digital & social media savvy

Position responsibilities:

  • Community Management —
    Daily monitoring (messages, comments, replies, numbers) of all channels; Outreach; Customer Service
  • Analytics —
    Pull social channels numbers; place in excel for AE to create formal analytics report; create analytics presentation as directed by AE
  • Scheduling Content —
    Ensuring accuracy of schedule content on all platforms
  • Creative Assistance —
    Sourcing props for photoshoots as needed; shipping as needed;
    Document all receipts from photo prop sources and shipping; Record with office manager
  • Meeting Responsibilities —
    Note taking; capturing follow up action items post internal and external meetings; distribution of notes to all team members

Qualifications:

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment.
  • You don’t just know Facebook and Twitter, you have a strong command of all major platforms and social monitoring tools, including the use of strategic hashtags for targeted research and engagement.

The Bundle of Joy — Summer Intern

ABOUT THE BUNDLE OF JOY:
The Bundle of Joy is a San Francisco-based giving company founded by Caroline Curran that curates and ships gift boxes full of products that parents actually need — think nail clippers, teethers, nipple cream, diaper cream, and more. For each Bundle purchased, a donation is made to a nonprofit. We work with consumers and are focusing this summer on growing our corporate gifting program. Additionally, we have a vibrant community of moms around the country who contribute to our thriving blog.

THE ROLE:
The Bundle of Joy is looking for an intern for the summer in San Francisco. This position is two (2) days a week and is a non-paid internship.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Be a key player in identifying corporate partners, maintaining sales data and reports. Assist team with preparation of presentations, filing, and order fulfillment. Customer service, copywriting, and photography skills are highly desirable.

The Inside — Graphic Designer

  • Collaborate with developers to achieve visual design quality in scalable digital solutions
  • Ensure UX and brand best practices are upheld through all digital touch points
  • Partner with Senior Design Director to propose design solutions that are both meaningful in metrics and brand mission — while supporting data-driven requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 2-3 years of graphic design experience
  • Excellent command over adobe creative suite

Storybook Weddings and Events — Part-Time Lead Wedding Coordinator

Storybook Weddings and Events is looking to hire a driven, part-time Wedding Coordinator.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Lead Coordinator will be responsible for working with clients from the Initial Sales Consultation through various meetings for the purpose of gathering vendor information and organizing wedding contracts and timelines with the goal of executing a successful and smooth wedding day.

Wedding Days will consist of being on your feet for 8-18 hours managing vendors, overseeing staff, managing client expectations, problem-solving, and keeping the event on schedule.

Our goal is to have this employee be promoted to a Lead Wedding Planner within 6-12 months. During this promotion process, the Lead Coordinator will gain insight to the Lead Planner Role by being responsible for assisting the Owner/Lead Planner on various tasks from updating spreadsheets, answering emails and phone calls, and attending planning and vendor meetings.
