This or That: Black Friday Plans

Who doesn’t like a good sale? When the deals can save you mucho dinero, it’s hard to resist heading into the trenches. Still, is it worth the crowds, headaches, and long lines to shop on Black Friday? How do you spend the day after Thanksgiving? Are you scouring the streets for deals and steals, or do you spend Black Friday nestled on the couch eating leftovers and basking in the comfort of home?

    As much as I love a good sale, the crowds are enough to keep me at home, on the couch (eating leftovers, watching Elf) during Black Friday.

    THAT. I’m guessing all the girls out shopping are too busy to comment, but I definitely prefer jim jams, leftovers, and Cyber Monday prep over a 4:30am wakeup call and crowds of grumpy shoppers!

    I definitely prefer nestling on the couch under a cozy blanket, belly full of delicious leftovers. If you’re a smart shopper, you can find great deals all year round!

    I’m enjoying Black Friday from the comfort of my couch.  I prefer not to participate in the lunacy of waking up early to stand in line in the cold.

    I say no to Black Friday. I went once with my mom when I was in high school and it was just a horrible experience. I had so much anxiety trying to find things we needed before everyone else! I’ll take lounging in my pjs, eating leftovers, and hanging with my family over all of that craziness.

    As much as I would have loved to score some deals, I just hate those crowds. Not worth it!

    I spend the day after Thanksgiving hanging out with family!! In the long run those memories will last longer than dollars saved.
