This or That: Natural or Glam Makeup

When it comes to makeup application, some of us prefer an all-done-up, ultra-glamorized look, never leaving the house without a bright red lip, unshakable liner, and long, batting lashes. On the other hand, a number of girls head in the opposite direction – always going with a nude lip shade, shying away from heavy foundation while letting those freckles shine through. When it comes to makeup, are you a glam girl or do you go with a more natural look?

My go to every day look is a thin liquid liner cat eye. The red lips? Not so much. Rosy cheeks? Yes please!

Don’t you think most of us fall in between? I use foundation, blush, liner, beigey/brown/bronzy shadow and lipstick to match my mood. No ultra glam application – just “assisted” natural look.

When I was younger, I was a glam girl but now that I’m 51 (wow, I feel like Danielle every time she says 30 lol) I like to keep it natural. Tinted moisturizer, blush, mascara and light lip shade.

I love the natural look. My day-to-day makeup is a simple tinted moisturizer, subtle blush, tinted lip balm, and a TON of mascara. Lots of lashes make everything prettier.

Natural. I use a tinted moisturizer or BB cream and plain mascara (no liner) for most days. My skin looks BETTER without layers of stuff. And the more moisturizer I use, the more glowy I am and need less makeup.

I am a natural kinda gal. tinted moisturizer, some bronzer, mascara, and lip gloss or balm. Although I have been doing the eyeliner thing this summer.

I’m definitely much more of a natural girl. I work in a very masculine environment, so IF I wear makeup to work, it’s only mascara and tinted lip balm.

My go to weekday look is rosy blush, minimal concealer, a touch of black or bronze liner and mascara.

I usually try to do more of a smokey cat eye for a weekend night.

When I’m just around the house though, it’s totally natural!

I love the glamourous look, but I hate washing it off! My everyday makeup consists of mascara and chapstick If I’m feeling extra spicy, I might throw on some eye liner.

Definitely natural. I feel weird whenever I put on a lot of makeup. It’s just not me.
