This or That: Wedding Dress Edition! Carrie or Bella?

From the moment Carrie Bradshaw stepped out in her fairytale Vivienne Westwood gown, we were smitten. Then she added that statement feather hairpiece and took bridal fashionista to a whole new level. But then there’s Bella Swan, who stole the show in the (fictional) wedding of the century in Breaking Dawn. The French Chantilly lace on her back-revealing Carolina Herrera gown made our hearts skip a beat as she walked down the aisle to Edward.

So the question is, which wedding gown has still got you swooning: Carrie’s or Bella’s?

Carrie’s is great but a little too editorial looking for my taste. The Carolina Herrera is timeless and beautiful. I super love it.

I like Bella’s dress, that is the kind of silhouette I’m want for my wedding. It is romantic, dreamlike and beautiful. I also need something that I can move in…I feel like Carrie’s dress would obstruct my goal of bursting killer moves on the dance floor.

I don’t LOVE either one, though I can appreciate elements of both. But I’ve got to vote third party here: Carrie’s wedding suit that she wore to their city hall wedding! Of the three, it’s the only one I’d consider wearing.

I like different things about both. Carrie looks like a true princess, which every girl should on their wedding day! Bella, however, has such grace and timeless beauty about her. I love the pearl buttons that line the back. Hopefully, I can make a hybrid of the two for my own big day!!

Team Bella on this one! Carrie Bradshaw is still my fictional idol and I LOVED the Vivienne Westwood dress as styled during the Vogue photo shoot montage scene (with her hair down and flow-y) in the film, but HATED that feather – too distracting and ruined the whole look for me.

They are so different it’s hard to decide. While my style is more of Carrie’s, I mus admit that I prefer Bella’s styling. So Bella has my vote.

I love Carrie’s dress. However, I prefer a much more classic style. Bella’s dress is more along the lines of what I expect to wear one day.(Why no picture of Kate Middleton’s dress? Everyone wants to wear that one!)

While both these dresses are beautiful, my all time favorite is Reese Witherspoon’s character in “Sweet Home Alabama.” Plus that hairpiece… I think that started the “fascinator” trend in the USA!
