You asked. Taylor Sterling answered.

My makeup/skin routine:
I don’t exactly have a routine when it comes to skincare. I love trying new products and mixing it up. However, I always wear SPF. Right now I’m using a mix of Estée Lauder ‘Day Wear’ products, Rodin Olio Lusso face oil, and a lot of products by Mario Badescu.

When it comes to makeup, I usually wear Estée Lauder BB Creme tinted moisturizer, Laura Mercier concealer, Estée Lauder bronzer, Nars blush, and a variety of different lipsticks. My all time favorite: Nars Schiap

When you first began, how did you connect with your readers and grow your readership without begging for people to “follow you or enter your giveaway?”
When I was starting out I didn’t focus on how many readers I had. I just posted what I love. I started getting some attention from that. However, that’s not always enough. I then started to join all kinds of networks: twitter, Facebook, Chictopia, Lookbook.nu, etc and I started to really communicate and connect with people. I also would comment and read other blogs. It really helped grow my connections and following.

Hi Taylor! I just recently stumbled on your blog, and it is adorable! I was just curious how you manage your time and find the motivation to get everything done quickly and avoid burnout? I recently opened a boutique and know this has been one of the biggest challenges for me!
Thanks! To be honest, I get burnout too. Somedays I want to just shut down and sleep the entire day. I haven’t had a vacation in over a year. It’s just the way it goes. I love what I do and feel very lucky to be doing what I am passionate about. So, I remind myself of that and it helps me stay motivated. I also know if I don’t work hard then I won’t reach my goals. When I really need a break I take small ones to help keep me sane.

Hi Taylor! I love both of your blogs. I’m in the process of rebranding my business and wanted to find out if you have a media kit? If so, what do you include in it and when you send it to people, what do you say to them?
Thanks! For a media kit I would include the following:
-High-res/beautiful images of your logo and pictures from your site and/or business
-A brief intro about you and your business
-Traffic and following numbers
-Examples of work on you site and how advertisers can benefit from those types of posts and be included in them
-What banner sizes you are offering for sale (you can include pricing if you’d like or have them inquire after)
-Any press that you’ve had
-Testimonials
-Social Media channels
