5 Steps Toward a More Confident You

So, the first quarter on the year is almost over. Hard to believe, yes? Spring has sprung (hopefully!) wherever you are and with new season upon us, it becomes the perfect time to also think about refreshing and renewing your goals for the year.

Choosing attainable goals are half the battle; we’re here to help narrow it down for you, and help you realize a few self-improvement projects that can help boost self-esteem and confidence. Such as, say, our 30 Day Challenges. And what if we committed ourselves to keep up the lessons and benefits learned throughout the entire year? Serious impact.

So, our friends at Invisalign® helped us create a doable list of intentions that will help you to be the best version of yourself, and a more confident you this year. May we suggest:

1. Get Moving

Ample research backs the premise that exercise helps boost mood, productivity, and overall happiness (not to mention the obvious health benefits). Find what keeps you motivated, be it running with your dog, yoga with friends, or dance parties solo in your kitchen. Whatever it is, yes, get moving!

2. Start a Kickstarter Campaign

In other words, time to make dreams come true! The passion project you’ve been putting off? Start it. If funding is your only obstacle, outsource. Women helping women? Win win.

3. Meet Someone New

Go out of your way to engage: find new friends, colleagues, mentors, perhaps even a significant other. Who knows where these connections may lead you; but hopefully, to places new, interesting, and worthwhile.

4. Keep a Journal

Recording your feelings and emotions at a certain time in your life can give you great clarity, and just may be just the release you need to answer your own seemingly rhetorical questions. Often times when it’s in writing, we want it more (or less!), so jotting down thoughts may just get you going.

5. Start That Nest Egg

Financial wellbeing is important (so very important!) regardless if you are just beginning your career, have made the recent decision to strike out on your own, or if you have been bringing in a steady income for years. Understanding where to put your hard earned money and how, why, and when, can make a difference in future stability.

So, what do you think? What small steps will you take that will lead to greatness? We believe in you! And if you believe in yourself, others will too.
