8 Attainable Street Style Looks from NYFW We’re Dying to Recreate!

As much as we love keeping up each season, New York Fashion Week can seem…how do we say this but, unattainable for many of us. More often than not it leaves us wondering, “Who on earth would actually wear such a thing?” But despite what you might see online and on social media, it doesn’t have to be that way! Contributing writer Juley Le hit the streets of NYFW on the hunt for women with everyday, attainable style. Here’s what she found:

We love the “no fuss” way Loannie Dao, graduate student and editor of Theory of Place, wears her overalls—a reminder that you don’t necessarily need to be done up to pull off ultra-trendy! She offsets the tomboy vibe with a ruffled crop to show a sneak peak of her midriff. Casual accessories like her leather slides, backpack, and Ray Bans pull everything together. Get her look: overalls // top // flats // sunnies // bag

McKenna Bleu isn’t afraid to rock cheery colors in the fall! Go for a bold statement and pair a bright, preppy dress with an equally colorful pair of pumps. Get her look: dress // pumps // clutch

Megan Runion, blogger behind For All Things Lovely, proves the matching sets trend is still very much alive! We love the delicate lace details in her ensemble paired with a slightly edgier heel to keep it from being too sweet. Get her look: top // skirt // shoes // sunnies

Lauren Hendel, publicist for MZ Wallace, is truly timeless in her culottes. Black and white is always a winning combination! Get her look: culottes // top // shoes

Jennifer Palpallatoc, blogger of Haute Off the Rack, makes a summer romper perfect for fall by adding one chic extra layer: a trench vest. (Just $60!) Get her look: romper // vest // shoes // bag

Vanessa Lambert, blogger of What Would V Wear takes a similar, casual approach—layering a structured vest ($35!) over a classic white button down and jeans. Get her look: vest // shirt // booties // skinny jeans

Claire Liu, an engineer and blogger behind Von Vogue Blog balances out her loose, draped outfit with a pair of killer heels and a chic, black statement bag. Get her look: pants // shirt // shoes // bag

Krystal Faircloth, graphic designer and blogger of A Pinch of Lovely, is looking oh-so-lovely in a budget-friendly feminine lace frock. She keeps it comfy (and stylish) in a pair of lace-up flats. (Psstt…you can make your own right here for less than $35!) Get her look: dress // shoes // bag
