If you’re into Imagine Dragons or The Neighbourhood and need a new indie band to add to your fall playlist, look no further than London indie-pop rockers Bastille. While the four-piece group has been around for a few years now, their album, Bad Blood, was only just released in the States. Let’s just say their arrival has definitely been worth the wait.
Bad Blood is full of beat-heavy tracks, piano, synths, and accented vocals (which are completely swoon-worthy). “Pompeii,” the opening track is rich with a chant-like chorus and pop melody designed to get stuck in your head. The album is laced with a few mellow, melancholic songs including “Oblivion” and “Laughter Lines,” which feature piano and orchestral melodies.
Be sure to also check out the fan favorite “Laura Palmer” and the album’s title track, “Bad Blood.”
Bastille is on tour right now and you can check out their upcoming dates here.
