We Need to Talk: Are You the Serena or the Blair of Your Group?

This week on We Need to Talk, we’re discussing the complexity of female friendships — from the comments that stick with us for life to the struggle to overcome our own insecurities.

Our Social Media Manager, Caitlin Timson, and our Editorial Assistant, Kelly Etz, hear from readers on how to deal with friends who just won’t stop competing and talk through their own experiences with the complex beast that is female friendship. Plus, one of us has amazing (no, really) calves. Watch to find out and don’t forget to share your thoughts in the comments below!

P.S. Watch till the end to see our favorite bloopers!

Great post, love this new series!

I’ve personally never had just one tacky comment from someone, but I seem to be on the receiver end quite a bit!! I feel like “when it rains, it pours” applies to this. One tacky comment leads to many others — I just start giving the perpetrator lots of space and making other friends / getting involved with other things! I’ve never known if I should actually be active and say something or just let it slide. I always let it slide regardless! It doesn’t take much for me to cut someone off, but I will never be rude!

This is a little random, but does anyone know where the plates and coffee cups in the background of this video are from??

    • Hi Arielle! The mugs are from Crate & Barrel and you can shop them here: http://bit.ly/2HRjYar. The plates are from CB2 and you can shop them here: http://bit.ly/2u80E6R 🙂
