Expertise

In her work, Langa investigates how the little things that make up our days—from our daily habits to our pop culture diet—make us who we are. As a Black writer in industries like beauty and wellness, she aims to demystify and decolonize the idea of “luxury.”

Experience

Langa began her career in literary publishing at The Paris Review before working as a marketing strategist. As a freelance writer, she has covered beauty and book launches, concerts and industry parties, and major events such as SXSW, Tribeca Film Festival, Venice International Film Festival, and more.

Fun Stuff

When she is not trying to find the best smoothie in LA (it used to be Rick’s Produce’s Fig Smoothie, but now, the jury is out), she runs the wellness collective and Substack House Six, where she examines the wellness industry and pop culture in an attempt to answer the question: “What the hell is wellness?”
