By offering detailed in-depth features, career profiles, relatable first-hand accounts, and how-to guides, The Everygirl inspires women toward leading a well-rounded, financially sound, and stylish life.

What would you do in this role?

The Everygirl is looking for creative, versatile, and highly skilled freelance writers to contribute to its editorial team. You’ll pitch, research, and write stories 1-2+ stories each month covering everything from the latest fashion, wellness, and dating trends, to testing the latest productivity and beauty hacks to see if they really work, to the new book release that has the BookTok girlies going wild, and the financial advice everyone needs to hear.

We are looking for contributors with experience writing a variety of lifestyle content, strong voices, a relatable sense of humor, and outstanding writing and grammar skills. Contributors ideally would have a history of writing for similar sites or publications and be able to write articles that need minimal edits and embody The Everygirl’s voice and brand.

We’re looking for writers to contribute to the following categories:

Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of The Everygirl’s brand and coverage
  • A strong comprehension of AP Style and grammar and ability to follow The Everygirl Media Group Style Guide
  • Experience writing about fashion
  • Experience sourcing and researching topics
  • Be available to pitch and write 2+ articles a month
  • Be comfortable with Google Docs

Compensation

All articles are paid. Rates will be outlined and agreed upon when pitches are approved.

Submissions

Submit a copy of your cover letter pasted in the body of the email to [email protected]. The subject of the email should be “Freelance Writer – your name.” The cover letter should include a little bit about yourself and the specific sections you’re interested in contributing to.

Within your application, include the following in the body of the email with links. These can be links to your portfolio website, Dropbox folder, or Google Drive folder. If using Dropbox or Google Drive, please make sure links are not private. Attachments will not be reviewed or considered.
