Though the love-infused holiday comes with mixed emotions, there’s no denying that dressing for the romantic theme in rosy reds and baby pinks is a welcome reprieve from the the grey bouts of winter.
I can still remember it: Showing up to school, decorated shoebox in tow, ready to accept a classroom’s worth of Valentine’s Day cards. As a now 30-year-old, the elementary tradition has graduated into a full-fledged love affair (literally) that has me showing up to the office once a year in varying, cupid-approved shades of pink and red. This year, with the love-filled holiday soon approaching, I’m in the mood to splurge on a few new Valentine’s-worthy pieces.
