We can’t wait to get a taste of our readers’ recipes! Start submitting!
PERSONAL STORIES:
The Everygirl is handing over the mic to you! Have a story for us? We’d love to hear! Tell us about a meaningful experience: funny, sad, happy, enlightening, strange. Whether it’s how you traveled to Europe for under $1000 or your battle with cancer at age 16, your stories and experiences can be a great influence to other girls.
Here’s how to submit your story:
Please email submissions@theeverygirl.com with the subject line PERSONAL STORY. Make sure the subject line also gives a great indication to what we will be reading. Example: “PERSONAL STORY: How I decided to attend graduate school.”
We want stories in first person narrative, written with as much detail as possible! Not a writer? No worries! Our editors will tweak where necessary, while still maintaining your voice and preserving your story!
Provide a live link on an image hosting site (i.e. Flickr) of relative pictures (from your vacation, a picture of you and your ex-boyfriend, etc.) for us to use in the post. All images must be at least 1000 pixels wide.
We look forward to reading your stories!
