How to Wear Bows as an Adult

For so many of us, bows are a distant memory from our childhood – an unmistakeable sign of carefree youth especially when tied up in our hair. But if your insta-feed is anything like mine, you’ve seen bows popping up all over from some of our favorite style bloggers as well as on the runways of major fashion houses.

Wondering how you can incorporate this style into your wardrobe without looking like a nine year old? From skinny bow belts tied around your waist, to oversized bows replacing your favorite necklace, here are a few ultra cool ways to wear a bow as an adult.

Ditch the Statement Necklace for an Oversized Bow

Think of the oversized bow as you would a statement necklace. It can layer over the top of a neutral or pattern. Try a simple, oversized silky black bow layered on top of classic pieces like a white button down or over top your go to shirt dress. Or opt for an all-in-one bow blouse paired with your favorite denim.
