For the majority of my adult life, I have worked out 5-6 days a week, and I don’t say that to win any “she’s got her life together” awards. In fact, my husband, on many occasions, has said to me, “I don’t know how you have the motivation to do that every week,” and to this, I have kindly responded with “Oh no, honey… I absolutely do not.” You see, I experience a rise and fall of motivation just like everyone else does, so on the days I don’t really feel like getting up and getting after it, I rely on two things: 1) remembering that I always feel good afterward, and 2) the clothes, accessories, and products that make a workout a littttle bit more enticing.
Since exercising is an important part of my life and a top priority of mine, I have developed a small workout essentials shopping addiction, but hey, if it’s in the name of health, it’s fine by me. Ahead, I am sharing the products that I use daily that actually make me motivated to work out—from activewear to post-workout care.
When I'm going to the gym, I strive to find the perfect balance between comfortable and cute. Alphalete's Amplify Contour Leggings blends both and allows me to get my sweat on while still feeling like that girl. Their leggings are made of a silky smooth material that's breathable and moves with me so I stay in the zone while I'm working out. I also can't get over how incredibly flattering they are with their body-sculpting design that perfectly hugs me in all the right places.

If you've been seeing this mat everywhere, you're not alone. It is basically the new it-girl mat, but it's not just because it's aesthetic as hell. This 2-in-1 mat doubles as a block for added versatility in your workouts and extra support. Plus, it is twice as thick as traditional yoga mats, which makes it a great option for anyone who needs a mat that is easier on their joints (*raises hand*).

Let me start by saying this: I love all things Bala, but these weights are easily at the top of my list. I love adding them into any of my low-intensity workouts or even some of my strength workouts when I'm feeling a little sore but still want to get some movement in. Plus, due to their streamlined design, I can strap them on for a walk and not look like a total weirdo walking around my neighborhood.

I have about a zillion water bottles, but when I get off my hydration game and need a little boost, this is the one I grab. It's double wall insulation keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours, it has a carrying loop, and it fits in a cup holder, which, if we're being honest, is the most important part.

There is nothing more annoying to me than walking into a workout class juggling all the things (phone, water bottle, towel, mat, wallet, and more). And I know this because I did it about a thousand times before investing in this bag. This bag singlehandedly makes getting ready for class half the hassle.

My hair wash days are few and far between, and figuring out what to do with my hair for a workout class is not my best talent. My solution? This Alo hat. I saw it everywhere on TikTok before deciding to get it for myself, and you know what, I wish I bought it sooner. I know it doesn't matter what my hair looks like for a workout, but it makes me a little bit more motivated to go when I look somewhat put-together.

I'm a sucker for a trend, so I love the whole high sock with sneakers thing that's been happening. These are the best option I've found for classes when you need a little grippy—Pilates and Lagree, I'm looking at you. Plus, I love the variety in colors that I can match with my workout sets.

On the long list of things that I need to do more of is foam roll. But this foam roller actually makes me excited to give my body the TLC that it desperately needs after a tough workout. I love the marble style and the double roller design—there is a hidden roller inside that works great to release tension in your back while the exterior roller can be used to massage your arms and legs.
Whenever I am feeling too tired to workout, I reach for these Verb bars. Each bar is caffeinated to give me the pep in my step that I need to get off my booty and get some movement in. I love that they come in a bunch of delicious flavors, are made with ingredients you can actually read, and are vegan and gluten-free.
