The Everygirl’s product selections are curated by the editorial team. If you buy something through our links, we may earn an affiliate commission, at no cost to you. We only recommend products we genuinely love.

While I’m the go-to health nut around the office (just ask my coworkers!), I also geek out over a good skincare routine or a pretty eyeshadow palette (who doesn’t!?). Likewise, my friend, Beth, is The Everygirl’s resident beauty queen, but also loves a healthy routine and is all about that self-care game. So as our gift for you, we put our heads together to make a comprehensive list of the most routine-changing, inventive, and brand new beauty and wellness products we can’t wait to try in 2021 (TBH, most of these items ended up in our shopping carts as we were writing this). Scroll on to shop smarter-than-ever haircare, game-changing skincare, revolutionary supplements, and wellness must-haves that are about to make reaching your health goals oh so easy.

Hair Balm

It’s not often in the beauty world that products seem truly innovative, but when they do, they immediately make it to the top of our lists. Hairstory caught my eye because they basically take the same approach that many of us take with our skincare with hair products. They’re all about nourishing, moisturizing, properly cleansing, and treating our hair and scalp with the same vehemance as we do with our skin. This hair balm focuses on moisturizing hair, especially curls, so that you can reduce frizz, define curls and waves, and condition the hair. What more could you want?!

The Phluid Project
Intention Bi-Phase Eau de Parfum Travel Spray

This new fragrance launch at Sephora caught my attention immediately. The Phluid Project is a gender-neutral fashion and beauty line taking gender norms out of the equation, which is especially interesting and important in the world of fragrance. Newsflash: there really shouldn’t be a difference between “men’s” and “women’s” fragrances. Their products are also so affordable, at only $20 for a travel size fragrance that will last you months while you try the scent! This one is a woody/spicy scent that’s going to be perfect for winter.

Fenty Beauty
Gloss Bomb Cream

There will never be a Fenty Beauty launch we’re not excited for. The original Fenty glosses basically reignited the lip gloss trend we’ve seen in the last few years, after Rihanna’s formula showed us gloss doesn’t have to be sticky and uncomfortable. I’ve loved those shimmery shades, but these more opaque, cream versions look gorgeous in every promo image. And in usual Fenty fashion, the range of shades will work on every single skin tone.

Glow Recipe
Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops

I’ll never not want to try my hand at a new Glow Recipe product. They’re different and exciting, but they’re not just a cute packaging gimmick; they’re highly effective. This product stands next to their best-selling Watermelon Glow line, but it’s main focus is highlighting from within. It’s basically a makeup product for skincare lovers. It uses niacinamide, watermelon, and hyaluronic acid (a powerhouse trio) to create a radiant glow without any shimmers or glitters on the skin. “No makeup” makeup just got a LOT better.

Danessa Myricks Beauty
Twin Flames Multichrome Pigment

I couldn’t get my hands on these new liquid multichrome shadows from Danessa Myricks Beauty fast enough. Liquid multi chromes have been a staple for small, indie cosmetics brands for a bit now, and we’re finally seeing more mainstream brands bring them into the hands of more and more people. These seem to have everything I’d want in a product: a cool texture, gorgeous packaging, a range of shades, and a super unique finish. Not buying a few is my #1 regret right now.

Camo CC Cream

I’m a huge believer in ELF. They are still one of the least expensive beauty lines we have access to, yet their products consistently perform with high-end quality. Heading into a new year, I’m dying to get my hands on products that make doing my makeup easier, and this CC cream is just that. It’s a full-coverage, natural finish, lightweight cream that’s available in 20 shades with varying undertones. Plus, it collagen, peptides, niacinamide, and is SPF 30. BRB, drooling over this foundation.

Sensitive Skin Treatment Drops Calming Vitamin B Serum

I’m new on the Tula train, but after seeing so many positive recommendations from our other editors and readers, this might be the first product I try. Anything that says it’s recommended for sensitive skin is exciting in my book. This uses niacinamide (can you tell this is about to be a majorly-trending ingredient in 2021?) balance, protect, and strengthen sensitive skin. Not only is it supposed to reduce inflammation or a current flare-up, but it also prevents them from happening in the future. I’ve never seen a product like this before!

Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara

Maybelline just does mascaras right. We’ve all been using The Falsies since high school, and they’ve had some incredible launches since (I’m currently obsessed with The Falsies Lash Lift). This one promises extra long lashes with a little bit of volume, and I refuse to believe it could disappoint. It also comes in a waterproof formula too!

64oz Motivation Water Bottle with Straw

You already know that hydration should be an everyday priority, and drinking enough water is crucial for reaching all of your health and beauty goals. However, remembering to drink (or knowing whether or not you’re drinking enough) is way more difficult than it seems. The coffee pot is calling, Zoom meetings get distracting, and all of a sudden we realize hours have flown by without drinking one glass of water. Sound familiar? A cheeky time marker water bottle that’s cute enough for your Instagram feed is the perfect way to remind yourself to keep drinking water, as well as the way to know if you’re drinking enough. 11 colors available.

24K Gold Ear Seeds

I tried ear seeds recently, and they are my new favorite wellness tool. Basically, they’re an at-home way to try acupuncture. Your ears are a gateway to so many parts of your body (which is why some places even specifically offer just ear acupuncture), so we can use ear seeds, tiny little metal beads on specific acupressure points in your ears. This can help with various things like PMS, stress, anxiety, tension headaches, hormonal imbalance, and so much more. This set is quite affordable, and the 24K gold pellets are said to also energize you!

Sense Advanced Smartwatch

The latest version of your go-to smartwatch tracks way more than sleep and steps. Now, the watch that helped you get 10,000 daily steps in tracks your body’s response to stress and prompts mindful meditations when stress levels get high. It also keeps track of things like overall heart rate and oxygen levels so you can always keep an eye on your health and know what’s going on in the body. As if that wasn’t cool enough, you also get a daily “stress score” based on heart rate, sleep, and skin temperature. Now that’s the kind of smartwatch we need after 2020!

The future of self-care products is alternatives that are not only effective, but non-toxic, clean, and sustainable. The latest wellness trend to take off is the replacement for your Crest that we’ve all been waiting for. These genius toothpaste bites are made of all-natural ingredients like coconut oil and guar gum to whiten teeth, fight cavities, balance pH levels, strengthen enamel, and freshen breath. The best part is that the bite-size tablets come in a refillable glass jar so you’re not wasting plastic everytime you run out of toothpaste. Rosebud Woman
Honor Everyday Balm

We’ve all spent time, energy, and money on skincare for our face since we were preteens, but what about skincare for our vaginas? Between friction-causing sex, lacy thongs, and period products, the sensitive skin around this area deserves some major TLC. This clean balm from Rosebud Woman is a luxe formula designed to nourish intimate skin on a daily basis as a self-care ritual. The luscious balm-to-oil melts upon application, thanks to a blend of replenishing oils, and all-natural ingredients like chamomile soothes to heal thin or dry skin tissues. This isn’t just a lotion or lubricant; it’s a daily treatment meant to be applied everynight before bed. The plant actives work overnight to treat skin for maximum nourishment. Bonus tip: since you need to massage so the balm melts into the skin, that means you get a good 10-15 minutes of “play time” every night. If that’s not worth the price alone, IDK what is! 2021 is the year of personal sexual wellness, starting with this genius product.

Boost Blend Essential Oil

We love essential oils like lavender for relaxing before bed, but they can also be used for so much more. The 2021 update in essential oil trends is using oils for not just stress-relief, but for energy. This blend infuses bergamot, grapefruit, juniper, and lime for a mixture that will remind you of warm summer days and literally energizes you while boosting your mood. Put a few drops in your diffuser while taking your morning shower or waiting on the coffee to brew, or just take a quick deep breath to inhale it whenever you’re hitting a slump for an instant (healthy!) mood boost and dose of energy.

The WaterSlyde

As a sex writer, I get about a dozen emails a day about new sex toys and trends in the sex-wellness world. When this new “toy” released recently, my inbox blew up, and once I read about it, I understood why. This toy attaches to the faucet in your bathtub and shoots water directly at… you know. No detachable shower head? No problem. For a toy like this, it’s also quite affordable, and if your bathtub is big enough, it would make a great partner toy.
