Believe it or not, remote jobs have always existed; they weren’t just a byproduct of the pandemic. But over the last five years, they have spiked to new levels as more and more people have found that they prefer remote work over in-person office requirements. If you’re one of them, I don’t blame you! Maybe you enjoy the freedom of “working from anywhere,” or maybe it just works best for your lifestyle or mental health. Whatever the reason, remote work has benefits that can’t be replicated in office settings.

That being said, it can be really hard to find a remote job without digging through pages and pages of job postings. Search filters don’t always work and often still push in-person work in your search results. But with a little more research, we have found that there are plenty of job boards dedicated to remote job postings. So if you’re struggling to find your next remote role, look no further—here are 15 of the best remote job boards to get you started.

1. FlexJobs

Flexjobs is one of the most highly rated remote job platforms out there, and it’s easy to see why. Their job postings are vetted and verified by their staff before posting, meaning each job is legit and high-quality. They cater your search results to location, job title, and years of experience, meaning you are more likely to find a job you connect with quickly. This resource is a great all-arounder for any industry, and you can even search by top-rated companies if you want to get more specific postings. Pricing is reasonable for an active job searcher, starting at $2.95 for 14 days of full access, or $9.95 per month for three months, giving you longer search time.

2. WeWorkRemotely

WeWorkRemotely is another job board that has the numbers to back it up. It boasts to be the largest remote work community, with the most postings. They specialize in design, programming, and marketing jobs, but also cater to an array of other industries such as education and real estate. This platform has great resources as well, including a free resume review and a community blog to connect with other remote workers. The best part about it? It’s totally free to use.

3. Jobspresso

Jobspresso stands out due to its variety of high-quality, curated jobs. They specialize in tech, marketing, and customer support, but also have various other industries represented. Through the use of keyword searches, it’s easy to match your own skills to a posting. Think: data analysis or SEO. This site is also free to use, and, if you prefer to apply directly on a company’s website instead of a job board, it will lead you directly to the posting on their site. This can help you weed out pesky ghost jobs.

4. WorkingNomads

WorkingNomads is a good place for those who like to browse new jobs consistently, especially for contract work. (Being an early applicant can give you an upper hand!) IMO, the best feature on this site is the companies tab, where you can browse remote companies to your heart’s content. While they do have a good amount of publicly accessible postings, they offer a premium subscription, which gives you access to even more postings, tailored job alerts, and vetted quality jobs. If you’re serious about finding a job fast, I recommend it. Their tiered pricing is broken down into monthly, quarterly, or annual, the best deal being the quarterly which is $39.95 every three months.

5. Wellfound

If you’re looking for a job at a startup, this one’s for you. Wellfound is a great platform to connect startup companies to job seekers. My favorite feature is that you can fill out applications right on their site, which means you won’t have a million tabs open. This might seem small, but trust me, it saves you loads of time in the long run and keeps you organized. From engineering to sales to operations, their reach spreads across various industries and skills. Not to mention, this site’s also totally free.

6. JustRemote

JustRemote is the platform for you if you want to see absolutely nothing but remote positions. No need to sort through in-office roles when you aren’t interested! Using only a few keywords, JustRemote will deliver results for your perfect job. They keep their interface simple, and they also provide free resume templates on their site, which is a great resource. While most of the site is free to use, they do offer a power search that shows “hidden jobs”. Access to that is $6 per month—not a bad price to pay to be ahead of the competition.

7. SkipTheDrive

On SkipTheDrive, you can search for flexible, remote, and hybrid jobs all in one place. They make it easy to do by separating opportunities by category or keyword. They specialize in tech, sales, and marketing jobs, but include some other industries as well, like healthcare. The best part? You don’t even need to register an account to search. It’s free, easy to use, and quick. Plus, they offer a free spreadsheet where you can keep track of your job applications.

8. NoDesk

NoDesk is a great resource for remote workers to not only find a job but also connect with their community. Browsing is entirely free and there’s no sign-up required—which we love to see. But the best feature of this platform is that it includes company profiles that explain their mission and values. This is definitely a standout feature, since we know how important it is to find a job and company you feel aligned with. Finally, they have thousands of articles, guides, and stories on their site that can help you in your search.

9. Remote.co

Remote.co has job opportunities across every industry—but don’t worry, it’s no overwhelming to sort through them. Their interface allows you to search by job type (employee, freelance, or temporary), schedule (full-time, part-time, flexible, or alternative), career level (entry-level, experienced, or manager), and so much more. You really can get specific here, which makes job searching painless. While their site does require you to create an account, it’s free to use.

10. RemoteHealthcareJobs

If you’re in healthcare but are looking to WFH, you’re in luck! This site is the ultimate database for remote healthcare jobs. Think: nurses, therapists, physicians, psychologists, and more. Base your search on your licensing or title, as well as location, and you’ll find hundreds of opportunities. My favorite feature is the ability to filter by how long ago the job has been posted. This ensures that you can find recently available jobs that are ready to hire.

11. RemoteOK

If you’re in the tech industry, look no further. This platform is known for its large volume of tech-related remote jobs. Start-ups and well-known tech companies post jobs here, so you can find a job that aligns with your skills and a company size that’s right for you too. Similar to other remote job boards, you can sort your search by job title or position, location, and even salary. Plus, you can sign up to receive emails with updates of new postings related to your search.

12. RemoteJobsFinder

If you want to let AI do some of the heavy lifting for you, try out RemoteJobsFinder. Simply answer a few questions about your experience level and position, get sent job offers from a private recruiter, and let them apply for you. Or if you prefer, you can look through their easy-to-use database all on your own. Other AI perks are available, too, like AI resume reviews. Their most popular plan is a 3-month plan, for $0.49 per day, which is about $15 per month. If you’ve been job hunting forever and just need a little help (or a break), this is a great option to stay on top of your game.

13. RemotePOC

RemotePOC is a fantastic resource for People of Color who are looking for remote jobs or internships. Their job postings emphasize the importance of DEI in the workplace and ensure that each team is diverse. Jobs are posted across various industries such as marketing, design, sales, and more, that you can filter by keyword. It’s free to use, and it’s free to join their private community and Slack channel too. What more could you want?

14. RemoteWoman

As a partner of RemotePOC, RemoteWoman is a free resource for women looking for remote roles. They prioritize posting jobs from companies that have supportive, strong, and professional women in the workplace. In addition to their easy-to-use database, they have a podcast and community Slack channel, which are intended to uplift women in all industries. If you’re not convinced that this is one of the best remote job boards yet, just take a look at the success stories on their website.

15. RealWorkFromAnywhere

RealWorkFromAnywhere is the job board of a traveler’s dreams. Work from anywhere, with handpicked jobs that don’t rely on location. (Because yes, sometimes remote jobs are subject to certain states!) This site is easy to navigate, with searches available for job categories and positions. They specialize in tech-related roles but also have many roles in other industries like accounting and design. Make sure to check out the company profiles to ensure that your values align before hitting apply. Since it’s free to use and doesn’t require an account, expanding your search here is a no-brainer.
