If there was one alarmingly positive aspect to come out of this mess of a year, it’s the fact that TV reigned supreme. In our most lonely, dark days, our favorite streaming platforms were there as a warm hug to get us through the mundane uncertainty and served as a welcoming escape from reality.

The days and months of 2020 blended together so much that my most tried and true way to mark the happenings of this past year has been to correlate them with the series that I was watching at that time. For me, it started hopefully with the Tiger King era, was followed by the Outer Banks period, dragged on with my Ozark phase, and continued through my flirtation with The Crown. So, let’s all raise our glasses to the series that connected us, inspired us, gave us the vacations we couldn’t take, and got us through 2020! We are forever indebted to you.
