If you’ve ever found yourself searching “Maeve” the second you land on Anthropologie’s website, you’re not alone—and you’re in luck. This month, Anthropologie officially launched Maeve as its own stand-alone brand, complete with a dedicated website, social channels, and its very first brick-and-mortar store opening in Raleigh, North Carolina this fall. Known for its preppy-meets-playful aesthetic, Maeve has long been a fan favorite within the Anthropologie universe. With over 2 million shoppers gravitating toward the line in the past year alone, it’s safe to say the demand for more Maeve is there. Now, the label is stepping into the spotlight, offering an even more curated shopping experience for its loyal following, and making it easier than ever to shop the pieces you love.
What makes Maeve stand out? It’s the unexpected styling choices that feel polished without trying too hard. Think: classic silhouettes reimagined in surprising fabrics (like a tweed romper instead of a blazer), bold prints that still feel wearable, and elevated basics that work for everything from a morning meeting to happy hour. As Barbra Sainsurin, Anthropologie’s Global CMO, explains, “Maeve has no uniform. There’s always an element of trying new things… That’s how we maintain the Maeve customer while broadening the appeal to everyone, including younger people.”
While the line will still live on Anthropologie’s site and in select stores, the new standalone identity gives Maeve room to grow. Fans can now also subscribe to the brand’s Substack newsletter for styling tips, product drops, and behind-the-scenes peeks at what’s coming next.
Ahead, we’re sharing the Maeve pieces we’re eyeing for the new season—consider it your official pre-fall shopping list.
