Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a Disney kid through and through. My childhood was marked by twirling around in princess dresses and trips to the drive-in every summer to see the latest Pixar movie. But no experience was more formative growing up than tuning in to catch the latest DCOM on TV. Disney Channel Original Movies graced Millennial and Gen-Z kids’ screens constantly throughout the late ’90s and early 2000s. These movies set my expectations for what life could look like in high school, college, and beyond. Even if those expectations turned out to be wildly untrue, the catchy music and quotable moments have stayed with me much longer.

There are so many great DCOMs that it can be hard to pick just one for a rewatch. Thankfully, the stars can decide for you—because each zodiac sign aligns perfectly with an iconic Disney Channel Original Movie. Once you’ve found the perfect rewatch, you can subscribe to watch all of your favorite DCOMs on Disney+. Want to know which DCOM best represents your zodiac sign, or just looking for your next nostalgic rewatch? Keep reading and find out.

Aries

Cadet Kelly

If there’s a sign that doesn’t need a lesson in independence, it’s Aries. This same self-sufficiency is a key part of the plot in the 2002 classic DCOM, Cadet Kelly. When easy-going teenager Kelly Collins (Duff) is enrolled in military school due to her new stepfather, a straight-laced ex-military man hellbent on teaching her discipline, Kelly struggles to adjust to the demands of her new environment while facing the abuse of her commanding officer. Kelly almost drops out—until she falls for a hunky classmate (Shawn Ashmore) and decides to join the drill team.

Taurus

Get A Clue

With her confident attitude and fabulous fashion choices, Lindsey Lohan set the bar high for Disney kids in the early 2000s. Lexy Gold, her character in Get A Clue, gives off major Taurus energy, too. As a Manhattan resident and one of the most popular girls in school, Lexy lives a life of luxury. But despite Taurus’s materialistic tendencies, they’re down-to-earth and work hard when something’s important to them. In Lexy’s case, that’s her status as the school’s gossip columnist—she will stop at nothing to find her missing teacher. Alongside a dedicated group of friends, Lexy discovers a new passion for solving mysteries and looks amazing while doing it.

Gemini

High School Musical

Geminis are the perfect sign to represent what’s easily one of the most iconic Disney Channel Original Movies. Troy is a basketball star, while Gabriella is a math and science whiz. When they both try out for the winter musical, it throws the entire school into chaos, complete with courtside solos and classroom dance breaks. Like the East High Wildcats, who chase their passions even if it means breaking the status quo, this air sign has all kinds of different interests. Whether it’s picking up a club sport, trying your hand at karaoke, or anything and everything in between, Geminis are always looking for the start of something new (I had to).

Cancer

Halloweentown

Just because Halloween has technically come and gone doesn’t mean that Cancer signs won’t be rewatching this classic year-round. Halloweentown is a beloved holiday-themed film about a young girl discovering her witchy heritage. Marnie Piper had always been drawn to the spooky and strange without knowing that she was actually a witch. Marnie’s grandmother, Aggie Cromwell (Debbie Reynolds), reveals that their family actually hails from Halloweentown, a hidden realm where witches, goblins, and other magical creatures live. In true Cancer form, Marnie is incredibly devoted to her family throughout this movie. Her willingness to express her emotions and stay loyal to the people she loves gives serious Cancer energy.

Leo

Camp Rock

Mitchie wants nothing more than to be a singer, and when she gets the chance to attend Camp Rock and spend her summer around other musicians, it’s a dream come true. But she’s quickly caught in a web of lies, pretending to be someone she’s not to impress her fellow campers. It’s no secret that Leos love to be the center of attention. That’s what makes Camp Rock the perfect movie to represent this fire sign. They’re driven by their creativity at all times, especially when it comes to close relationships. Even though Mitchie’s desire to fit in gets her into trouble, Leos will relate to the way her authentic self comes through when she’s on stage.

Virgo

Jump In!

Corbin Bleu might be known better for his role in High School Musical, but he shines just as much as star boxer Izzy Daniels in Jump In. Winning the Golden Gloves competition and following in his father’s footsteps is Izzy’s biggest dream. His training includes exhibition tournaments and jump roping, which is how he finds himself on his neighbor Mary’s Double Dutch team when she needs to replace a jumper. Virgos can relate to the pressure Izzy feels to choose between boxing and Double Dutch. This earth sign is known for its intense focus, though sometimes it leads to setting extremely high standards. But no matter which sport Izzy plays, he works hard, and it pays off.

Libra

The Cheetah Girls

Galleria, Chanel, Aqua, and Dorinda are more than one of Disney Channel’s most memorable girl groups; they’re also best friends. That makes The Cheetah Girls a great movie for Libras because relationships mean everything to them. As the girls go from talent show tryouts to record label recording booths, their dreams of fame are within reach. In true Libra fashion, they’re able to restore balance in their friend group even when the power goes to some of their heads. Of course, Libras are also known for having a great sense of style, and there’s a reason that the Cheetah Girls’ colorful tracksuits are so iconic.

Scorpio

Johnny Tsunami

Scorpios are fixed water signs, which means they’re resistant to change—which is why Johnny Tsunami is the perfect rewatch. Johnny Kapahala is forced to trade in his surfboard for a snowboard when his family moves from Hawaii to Vermont. As any teen might, he struggles to fit in and can’t figure out where he belongs—is he preppy? Or is he a snowboarder? He makes a new friend, Sam, who helps him adjust and even embrace his environment with the help of some sage advice from his famous ex-surfer grandpa, Johnny “Tsunami.” All Scorpios will relate to Johnny’s struggle to adapt to a new environment and could learn a thing or two from his willingness to lean on friends for support.

Sagittarius

Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century

Zenon Kar (Kirsten Storms) is a fashion-forward and spirited teen living in a space station. It isn’t long before Zenon and her best friend Nebula (Raven-Symoné) uncover a plot to sabotage her home. When she tries to warn the others on the station, Zenon is instead sent back down to Earth, where she struggles to fit in while still trying to alert others about the impending disaster. Like a Sagittarius, Zenon is great at navigating different environments, as she flip-flops between life on the space station and life on Earth. Plus, she’s incredibly loyal to her family and friends, a trait that all Sags share.

Capricorn

Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior

Capricorns feel responsible for fixing everything around them. In Wendy Wu’s case, she’s the only one who can. Brenda Song stars in what is one of my personal favorite Disney Channel Original Movies: Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior. As a Yin warrior descended from her great-grandmother, it’s up to her to save the world from an evil spirit. But Wendy would rather focus on winning homecoming queen at her high school. Wendy gives off Capricorn energy for her ambition, both in her homecoming campaign and her warrior training. She may seem like your ordinary teenager, but of course, there’s more to her than meets the eye.

Aquarius

Smart House

Smart House begins with Ben Cooper (Ryan Merriman), a super tech-savvy teen who wins a contest, landing his fam in an AI-operated home named PAT (Katey Sagal). At first, everything goes right, until it doesn’t. PAT gains more and more control over the family, and Ben needs to work with the rest of the Coopers to make sure they’re the ones running the house. Much like Ben Cooper and the rest of his family, Aquarians are unafraid of taking innovative risks and living in the future. As one of the most esoteric zodiac signs, Aquarians are the most likely to wonder what’s possible with the future of AI—meaning a rewatch of Smart House is in order.

Pisces

Read It & Weep

Pisces often find themselves torn between fantasy and reality—and a movie about what would happen if your private diary was accidentally published will definitely resonate with this sign. In Read It & Weep, Jamie keeps a detailed journal fictionalizing her high school experience, where the main character “Is” is based on a cooler, more popular version of herself. But when she submits the wrong file for an essay contest, her journal becomes a bestselling book. Like a true Pisces, Jamie clearly has a vivid imagination, and the drawings in her journal show how in touch she is with her creative side, even if her sudden stardom may not be what she wants.
