Like most suburban dwellers and high schoolers, there was absolutely nothing to do in my tiny town other than go to the mall 20 minutes away. It was how we spent basically every Saturday. Whether we were actually shopping or just waiting around for cute boys, the mall was practically a second home to me. The sheer amount of photoshoots I have saved on a hard drive somewhere from the depths of my hometown mall is enough to give me a #ThrowbackThursday for eternity. But as a beauty and fashion lover since basically birth, I enjoyed every second of my time there.
Life isn’t so easy now; I can’t just beg my mom to drive me to the mall to try new stuff all over the back of my hands until they’re red. So the adult way to get my fix has been FabFitFun. The subscription box is filled to the brim with full-sized beauty products, accessories, fitness tools, and home decor—which is basically all you’d find anyway if you checked my bank statement right now.
Not sure it’s for you? Here’s why I make room for FFF in my budget every year:
#1. It doesn’t feel like a typical subscription box. You’re always getting products you’d actually use because there are a lot of customizations with the box. Not to mention, everything is a full-size product, and the box always includes a value of over $200—so your money is always going to products that are actually worth it.
#2. It’s women-founded and run and always includes tons of women-founded brands. It’s a priority in my spending to support women-owned businesses, and FFF makes it easy to try new brands I never would have known about before!
#3. And if you don’t know if you’ll use something, the gifting potential is high. I love gifting the unused products from my box because it’s always a brand or a product a friend or family member would totally love. Mother’s Day last year was a breeze because my mom fell in love with basically everything in my box!
#4. The box includes a FabFitFun magazine full of tips, advice, and interviews with inspiring women. This box featured Padma Lakshmi (one of my idols), Kristin Cavallari, a spotlight on No Kid Hungry, a recipe for Pumpkin Cauliflower Mac ‘N Cheese that looks absolutely heavenly, styling tips, and more! Oh, and look out in the back for coupon codes!
#5. You get all of this, and it’s only $39.99 with our code below. Say what?!

What Came in My Box:
Dr. Dennis Gross is a favorite brand amongst our editors, so I was elated to find one of his products in this box! His skincare is clinical-strength, and if it's good enough for a dermatologist office, it's definitely good enough for at home! This product helps reduce the appearance of pores, tighten the skin, and give your face a clear, even complexion.
Part of looking good is keeping your clothes in tip-top shape, but it's not always fun to drop your hard-earned dollars on laundry materials. That's where FFF comes in hot. The box always has products I've always wanted to try but have never convinced myself to pull the trigger—and this wrinkle-removing spray does everything I needed and more!
Other Options We Love:
Two favorite products in one duo?! This eyeliner is one of my favorites of all time because it truly stays all. day. The mascara is also great for a dramatic lash look. You're about to look amazing, sweetie!
