As you may know if you’ve been reading the tech background intros for a while, I think October is the best smelling month (leaves and spice and crisp air), but September isn’t too shabby either. There’s something intriguing about the blend of the tumble from summer into autumn. Somehow both the smell of sunscreen melting and cinnamon clove. The smell of a fresh start and a gentle push. The smell of sharpening a Ticonderoga pencil (obviously the best pencil) and getting the dust all over your hands. It’s so easy to fall for this time of year; the enchantment of familiar change.
