One of my favorite things to do is scroll Instagram to look at gorgeous apartments (read: townhouses that could fit a whole family). Not only are the apartments themselves amazing (hello, exposed brick!), but they all also seem to have picture-perfect decor. So if you’re like me and you’re obsessed with beautiful home decor and wish your house could actually look like the Pinterest board you’ve been carefully curating since your college days, you may want to spruce up your space a little as you’re spring cleaning.
But you can’t really try out every single design trend you love without your house looking like a hodge-podge of different furniture and styles (unless you’re a Leo—more on that below). To get an idea of how to update your space, your zodiac sign could be the guiding light you need. After all, your sign can tell you all about who you are, and you definitely want your house to look and feel like you. If that sounds like a daunting prospect, have no fear. Taurus: Lean into your outdoorsy side with natural materials
Nothing says “Taurus” like lots of wood and natural materials. It’s almost like being outdoors, which is perfect for this earth sign. Tauruses love to just chill and spend time at home, and the warm natural colors just feel cozy. Swap your glass coffee table for a wooden one or even add some plants to make it feel like outdoors inside.
Gemini: Make your space as versatile as you
Geminis don’t like to commit to one thing, so making your spaces do double duty is essential. As an adaptable Gemini, your house should be adaptable too. You don’t have to choose between a bedroom and a study or a living room and a gym—just make your rooms multi-functional. Add a comfy loveseat to your bedroom to make a reading nook (or a place to scroll TikTok), or dedicate one corner of your living room to your desk so you can separate your work time from your chill time. As a Leo, I can tell you from personal experience that when it comes to decor, more is always more—more pillows, more patterns, more colors. Sagittariuses love to have fun, and what’s more fun than printed wallpaper? Adding some bright wallpaper to your house will add some energy to the white walls. And if you rent, you can always try out removable wallpaper, which is perfect for Sagittariuses who don’t like to be tied down. Plus, with removable wallpaper, you can easily switch up your style if you get bored (which Sags tend to do).
Capricorn: Forget trendy and go with traditional
Capricorns themselves are traditional, and trends aren’t really their style. They appreciate structure and rules, so traditional decor is perfect. Capricorns also tend to be serious, so styles like bright colors or crazy wallpaper don’t exactly do it for them. Antiques, Persian rugs, and rich colors will get a Capricorn excited.

Pisces: Create a dreamy space with curved furniture
Curved furniture is soft and dreamy, which happen to be perfect adjectives to describe a Pisces. A white curved couch that looks almost like a cloud is fitting for a head-in-the-cloud Pisces. Pisces are creative and imaginative, and curved pieces have a fashionable, unique feel to them.
