The Low-Maintenance Hair Trends Stylists Are Recommending for Fall 2020

Changing up your hair is basically a rite of passage once or twice a year. Whether it’s a major cut (hello bangs!) or color or you’re simply ready to ditch your everyday waves for a new style, we can all benefit from a little hair switch up. In fall 2020, however, a hair transformation doesn’t have to be something that takes you back to the salon every six weeks. In fact, it really shouldn’t be. Instead, stylists are recommending low-maintenance cuts, colors, and styles that will last without touch-ups a little while and can easily be taken care of at home.

We’ve pulled together some of the season’s hottest hair trends and put them all in one place. The plus? They look just as good with a mask on. 😉

It’s the CONFIDENCE for me. ✨Something that I hear from people is that I come off very assured of myself, confident, and very put together. I have worked very hard to develop myself and to build myself up to present that way to the world. The truth is I think I’m a hot mess most days. Im not sure what my life will look like in the next 5 years. I struggle thinking I’m beautiful everyday. I feel this pressure within myself to be better all the time. But what I will say is everyday I believe in myself. I believe that I am beautiful inside and out. I believe that I can achieve my dreams. I believe that I can put good into the world. I believe that I’m a good friend. I believe I’m capable of anything I put my mind to. I make sure to Thank God for what he has provided me with and that alone fuels my confidence. I don’t let the negative thoughts I have consume me and break me down. Even those days that it’s harder to believe in myself I know I’ll bounce back and keep radiating peace, love, kindness, and strength. I’m going to be sharing how I’ve built my confidence and things you can do to work towards a more confident appearance. . . . #enhancetheindividual #confidence #blackgirlmagic #radiance #darkskinwomen #austinblogger #selfphotography #selfphotoshoot #blackinfluencers #lifestyleblogger #blacklifestyleblogger #discoverunder10k #austintexas #atxblogger

When lightening previously colored hair keep in mind that it will always reveal the hairs undertones. So if your hair was colored red for example, even if it was years back the lightener will always expose those warm undertones. so if your goal is to be more on the ashy side, understand that it may take some time to get there safely and in some instances might not be possible at all in order to maintain the integrity of the hair. Trust in your hair care professional. Their main goal is your hair health above all. Here is a great example of how one session can look like after coloring your hair. (Does not happen with everyone) if you color your hair red or black, understand you’ll be married to that color for a long time. Thank you to my beautiful client for taking my advice and having us come to a common goal for her to have beautiful healthy hair! 😍✨ #correctivecolor #balayage #dimensionalbalayage #warmtones #chicagohairstylist #lakeviewsalon #lakeviewhair
