There is almost nothing I love quite like a new cookbook. My to-buy list is always lengthy because as soon as I get a new one and cross it off the list, there are five or so more that I need to immediately add. I’m trying to cook much more at home, something I admittedly enjoy, and it’s always more fun to do so with new books around. Trying new-to-me recipes bring me so much joy. Whether they’re twists on some of my favorite dishes or meals or ingredients that I’ve never had the chance to taste before, I get downright giddy when something different than my usual go-tos is on the menu. I’ve started looking at newer books (those released earlier this year or coming this fall) and compiling another list of books to buy ASAP now that I know that I’ll probably be spending even more quality time in my kitchen in the coming months and—spoiler alert—the list is long.
