I’m the type of gal to track every online shopping order with the same intensity I check my Slack messages—there’s something about that “out for delivery” alert that gives me the same buzz as my overpriced afternoon latte. So when my first Wantable box landed on my doorstep, I’m not ashamed to admit: I tore into it like a kid on Christmas morning. I knew what was inside was going to be special—not just because I live for seasonal wardrobes (fall especially!) but because I was able to be one of the first to unbox The Everygirl Style Edit.

As someone who’s behind the scenes on the partnerships side of the biz, I knew this collab was going to be more than just a box of pretty pieces. We wanted it to feel like a thoughtful ode to personal style—the kind that’s less about chasing trends and more about dressing in a way that feels like you. And dare I say… we nailed it.

Curated by Wantable, this limited-edition collection is rooted in ease and intention. Each piece is selected with your real life in mind—style, size, budget, and all. Here’s what made it into my style box:

What is Wantable?

Wantable is a personalized styling service that delivers curated clothing boxes based on your unique style, size, and preferences. Here’s how it works:

It all starts with a quick style quiz where you share everything from your go-to colors and silhouettes to the types of pieces you want (or want to avoid). You can flag the trends you’re into, call out fit issues you usually run into, and even note lifestyle details, like whether you need workwear, weekend basics, or a little bit of both. From there, a stylist puts together a box of nine handpicked items just for you, which you can try on at home, keep what you love, and send back what you don’t.

My style quiz

The Wantable quiz took me less than 10 minutes, but it was enough to get me and my stylist on the same wavelength. I’ve always had a pretty strong idea of where I want to go with my style, but every year without fail, I fall into trends, buy the wrong staples, and end up with a closet full of pieces that don’t really work together. By sharing my preferences, sizing, and style goals upfront, it gave my stylist a clear starting point, so every piece in my box felt intentional—no more guessing or lukewarm purchases that I never end up reaching for.

At the end of the quiz, there’s a section for you to brain dump, and as a professional yapper, I took full advantage of the opportunity. I name-dropped my favorite brands, used some buzzwords to describe the pieces I gravitate towards, and painted a picture of how I’d be wearing the pieces. I overshared (as per usual), and it paid off.

What came in my box

Unboxing my Style Edit wasn’t just checking “did it arrive?” off my list—it was an experience. Nine picked-for-me pieces wrapped in branded tissue paper and sealed with a Styled for Ashley sticker? OK, little miss VIP. But unlike my usual, rogue 2 a.m. purchases, where I already know exactly what’s inside, this one felt like a little gift from a BFF who knows my Pinterest board better than I do.

In my Wantable quiz, I explained to my stylist that I’m a 31-year-old millennial who (at times) leans Gen Z. I am no stranger to leaning into trends (fashion is fun!!!), but I’m also super practical and strive to have a healthy balance of timeless basics that’ll stand the test of time. The Everygirl Style Edit delivered exactly that. Cozy pieces, practical staples, a lot of neutral tones, and an unexpected pop of color that gave “cool girl” but was actually wearable. Every piece could be dressed up or down, and without even touching my closet, I could mix and match to create multiple outfits straight from the box. It felt like my stylist really understood my balance of trend-forward fun and timeless practicality.

Here’s a quick peek at what was inside my Everygirl Style Edit:

  • 1 elevated tee
  • 2 chunky knit sweaters
  • 3 jackets (yes, three)
  • 1 pair of mid-rise jeans
  • 1 pair of ponte leggings
  • 1 pair of embroidered house slippers

My favorite surprise? The red zip-front jacket from Vero Moda. It wasn’t one of those “oh no, how am I going to wear this?” pieces—instead, it was an immediate “oh, hell yeah.” I could easily envision myself throwing it over an office outfit or pairing it with black jeans and bootie heels for a girls’ night out. It made a statement but still felt approachable, effortlessly cool, and like something I’d actually reach for.

The outfits I wore the first week

I made it very clear in my quiz: I need pieces that match my real life. In fall, that means train rides to work, wine nights with friends, and tactical strikes at Trader Joe’s for Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese. The Edit delivered on that versatility.

Here’s how I styled my box over the past week:

  • Making progress on my TBR on a rainy Saturday: Whipstitch crewneck + bootcut leggings + embroidered house slippers
  • Falling victim to bottomless mimosas with the girls at brunch: Barn jacket + driftwood sweater + mid-rise jeans + mesh ballet flats
  • Trying the “hidden gem” restaurant downtown that everyone already knows about: Red zip-front jacket + funnel-neck tee + bootcut leggings + pointed-toe heels
  • Braving the Trader Joe’s aisles on a Sunday: Quilted jacket + mid-rise jeans + sneakers

Each piece was mix-and-matchable, easy to layer, and effortlessly stylish. I haven’t even touched most of my existing closet—this box basically became my entire wardrobe for the week.

Why Wantable is better than shopping on my own

As much as I enjoy shopping and the idea of being a fashion girlie, the truth is, I’m not an expert, and I almost always fall flat when it comes to getting my closet any closer to my Pinterest-board dreams. The Everygirl Edit really helped transform my fall/winter wardrobe without having to spend weeks adding items to my cart or shell out the…thousand…dollars I likely would have spent trying to achieve the same thing on my own. Listen, I can’t be good at everything.

What to know before ordering your own Style Edit

Take the quiz seriously. It only takes 10 minutes, but your stylist can only work with what you give them. Share your lifestyle, climate, favorite brands, go-to pieces, and what you don’t want. This is your moment to be specific—it makes a huge difference.

The Everygirl Edit isn’t forever, but the pieces? Total keepers. If you’ve been meaning to get your fall wardrobe in order, consider this your sign.
