Spring is here, which means my favorite fragrance season is finally upon us. While I can definitely romanticize the cold winter days with delicious gourmands and cozy cashmeres, I truly thrive when it’s time for those light, bright spring scents to reappear. But with launches dropping every week and so many fragrances to choose from, how can a girl possibly pick just one signature scent for spring? Turns out the answer isn’t in those five-star Sephora reviews… it’s in the actual stars. As the resident fragrance head and astrology girlie at The Everygirl, I’ve done the research and found your spring perfume, based on your zodiac sign.
Aries
Aries need a slightly unexpected spring signature scent, and a mango note is just the thing. It has that fresh, ripe sweetness that adds a pep in your step on a warm spring day, grounded and made more mature with woody saffron and vetiver. It’s the perfect elevated fruity fragrance.
Taurus
Tauruses love a little luxury, and Cyklar is the brand embodiment of elevating everyday essentials. Their perfume oils—from their glass bottles to their formulas—exceed those Taurus high standards. The Flora Veil scent is the perfect gorgeous, fresh spring bloom perfume.
Gemini
It only makes sense for our… multi-faceted… Geminis to have two fragrances in one. This Phlur body mist set is designed to be layered to create a delicious berry matcha latte fragrance. If you think they taste good, just wait until you smell them.
Cancer
As a water sign, Cancers love a subtle solar scent for their spring signature fragrance. The calming lavender in DedCool’s Mineral Milk is also perfect for the sign that seeks comfort above everything else. Cancers will be spraying this on repeat during the warmer months.
Leo
Leos obviously need a spring signature scent that’s as bright and bold as they are, and Candied Lychee is that girl. It makes a sparkling statement that will have you fending off “What are you wearing?” questions all day long.
Virgo
Liis is one of my absolute favorite fragrance houses, and spring is really when their scents shine. We all know Virgos love a clean, organized home, and this perfume smells like fresh linens drying on a line in the sunshine on a crisp spring morning. If that’s not peak Virgo, I don’t know what is.
Libra
Libras are famous for their love of beauty, and I can’t think of anything more stunning than the French Riviera, which is the inspiration behind this fragrance. Who needs a plane ticket when you can be transported with just one spray? With notes like fruity apple, ylang ylang, jasmine extract, and vanilla absolute, I know that Libras are going to race through this bottle.
Scorpio
Scorpios always struggle to nail down a signature scent because their mysterious nature is difficult to encapsulate in just a handful of notes. But By Rosie Jane’s Dylan Perfume Oil does just that. Inspired by individuality and sexual freedom, it just screams Scorpio.
Sagittarius
Obviously jet-setting Sags need a spring signature scent inspired by faraway travels. The fragrance tells the story of a sun-soaked fig tree by the sea in Greece, which is just so Sagittarius. Philosykos is green, juicy, fresh, and a tad woody, making it the ideal signature scent.
Capricorn
Capricorns are often characterized by their workaholic side, and while they definitely work hard, they also know how to play hard. Kayali’s new release can seamlessly take them from work to drinks with the girls while having them smelling incredible the entire day. It’s bright, fun, and might even inspire Capricorns to loosen up just the tiniest bit.
Aquarius
Aquariuses don’t want another Sephora fragrance everyone’s wearing, no matter how good it smells, so niche British perfume brand Ormonde Jayne makes the perfect spring signature scent for them. Their fragrance Levant is an airy floral they’re bound to fall in love with. Though don’t ask an Aquarius what they’re wearing, because they’re definitely gatekeeping it.
Pisces
Based on the name alone, this scent is Pisces to a tee. Emotional and whimsical, the scent is quite literally the embodiment of Pisces. It’s a musky floral scent profile that smells absolutely divine, no matter what you’re up to this spring. Not to mention, the bottle alone is an art piece.
