Expertise

Josie has always been “that girl” who adds adaptogens to her coffee, enjoys a green juice just as much as a glass of wine, and craves exercise instead of dreading it. After going through her own health transformation using food and lifestyle changes, Josie became passionate about helping other women achieve their most confident, healthiest, and happiest selves too. With the strong belief that true health is freeing instead of restrictive, Josie is dedicated to helping other women achieve food freedom, love their bodies, and feel their best. Josie routinely attends lectures and masterclasses led by industry experts to stay up-to-date on the latest in health and wellness, constantly seeking all the best secrets to achieve optimal wellness in body and mind.

Experience

Before starting at The Everygirl, Josie was a magazine intern at ELLE Paris and a contributing writer for publications like The Newsette. Josie first joined The Everygirl team as an intern in 2017 before becoming an Assistant Editor where she spearheaded the seasonal fashion photoshoots, curated the Shop Page on a weekly basis, and grew The Everygirl Pinterest. Since then, she’s re-established The Everygirl’s wellness voice to be even more inclusive and informative and brought a bio-individual approach to wellness content that acknowledges every body is different and needs different things. Josie writes, brainstorms, and oversees the wellness content across the brand, and styles lifestyle photoshoots accordingly.

Fun Stuff

Josie wanted to be a ballerina or the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue when she grew up, but she knows she’s now more on the path of becoming Frankie from Grace and Frankie (living off of Del Taco and homemaking yam lube, that is). While Josie would try just about any wellness trend and loves how a plant-based diet makes her feel, she’s also been known to rarely turn down a glass of Pinot Grigio and has licked a plate of Cacio e Pepe clean (true story!). During her free time, you can find Josie obsessing over her french bulldog, Louie, rewatching Vanderpump Rules for the one thousandth time, or convincing her coworkers why Link Larkin circa Hairspray is the best Zac Efron.
