Expertise

When she isn’t writing, Sydney is most likely memorizing a new script or searching for new and effective techniques to discover and maintain boundaries—both sexually and emotionally. She’s as passionate about teaching readers to advocate for themselves in all types of situations as she is about creating a better entertainment industry, which she believes goes hand in hand. We imitate what we see, and Sydney is on a mission to change the narrative we internalize, particularly when it comes to sex and relationships.

Experience

Sydney began her career as an actor and freelancer, holding roles in social media management, blog writing, directing, and acting. She went on to hone her creative and editorial writing skills in her digital marketing position with Steppenwolf Theatre Company and in personal endeavors. After earning her BFA, Sydney became interested in Intimacy Coordination and began taking classes with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators International, as well as mentoring under a prominent Chicago-based Intimacy Coordinator.

Fun Stuff

Sydney loves all things Christmas, taking her PureBarre classes, sharp cheddar cheese, prosecco, and the iconic film 27 Dresses. Also, if her little brother and sister aren’t invited, she isn’t coming.
