It’s that time of year again: The time of year when you have to warm up your car in the morning before you leave for your workout class so the windows have enough time to defrost; the time of year when you have to wear gloves and ear muffs if you’re even thinking about going for a long walk; the time of year when you have to wear extra layers to your workout class just to shed them after the warm-up and put them back on after class; the time of year to finally bust out your cold-weather workout clothes. Except if you’re anything like me, you don’t really have that many options because you don’t like to admit that it actually gets cold enough outside to *really* need them. But jokes on us because it’s freezing out there and we still have to bundle up and get out the door whether we’re prepared or not.
This Baggy Dad style from Levi’s is a tried-and-true favorite our team swears by, made famous by an effortlessly cool fit and PJ-like comfort.
This year, unlike every year before now, I am finally going to be one of those prepared girls with the jackets, long sleeves, leggings, and shoes that are fit for the season. We rounded up the warmest layers (that are breathable enough for workouts), leggings meant for the cold, and shoes with thicker materials to survive colder weather (because hot girl walks are fun in the snow too!). Ahead, all the best workout clothes and shoes for fall and winter that I personally can’t wait to get my hands on.
