Look to the skies this Wednesday, April 1, around 10:12 p.m. EDT to see the Pink Moon at pink illumination. For the best view, head to a wide, open area. With the sun setting later and later, this could also be a great time to gather friends for an evening picnic.
Why is the Pink Moon significant?
Since the Pink Moon moves us into the sign of Libra, we can expect the balance and harmony that our lovely Libras are known for. And after the chaos of March and Mercury retrograde, this shift is going to be a breath of fresh air and a much smoother ride. Mercedes notes that, astrologically, full moons act like spotlights. You’re likely to feel heightened emotions and be forced to confront hidden truths. It can be an inspiring or intense time, but either way, the moon is pointing you to areas where you need clarity. The Pink Moon is also arriving in a time of renewal, meaning you should look at what you’ve outgrown and what you need to release.
