It was exactly what I needed to get me through the days.

They’re also known for their duality, meaning one minute they’re playful and flirty, and the next they can shift into something more serious and reflective. That’s exactly what 1989 feels like to me. On the surface, it’s all big-city glamour and party vibes, but underneath, you get glimpses of heartbreak, self-discovery, and emotional growth. It’s so dynamic, just like a Gemini.

The Tortured Poets Department shows Taylor at her most vulnerable. Songs like “loml” and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” reveal a side of her that we haven’t seen before. Things that she’s kept buried and feelings she may have never expressed publicly. In this album, she’s open, honest, and fully wears her heart on her sleeve—classic Cancer energy.

The album leans into themes of revenge, owning who you are, and personal transformation, which is very Scorpio of her. But beneath that hard exterior, there’s a depth of emotion and vulnerability that only reveals itself once you really get to know the sign.
