1. Scottsdale, Arizona
If your vibe is a 50/50 split between lazing by the pool with a cocktail in hand and getting adventurous outdoors, Scottsdale is the destination for you. We recommend renting an Airbnb with a pool in Old Town, so you’ll be walking distance from all the action in Scottdale with your own personal oasis in the backyard. Spend your mornings hiking or zooming around on ATVs in the desert, your afternoons getting your tan on, and your evenings barhopping and enjoying Scottsdale’s restaurant scene—the best of both worlds!
2. Austin, Texas
Austin is quickly becoming a hot spot for bachelorette parties, and it’s not hard to see why. Packed with trendy restaurants, rooftop lounges, live music venues, and a thriving bar scene, the city has no shortage of things to fill your itinerary. Be sure to hit South Congress Avenue for some eclectic shopping, rent paddle boats to take out on Lady Bird Lake, and snap a few group photos in front of the colorful murals downtown. If you want a mix of outdoor fun and vibrant nightlife, Austin is the perfect destination for an unforgettable bachelorette (cowboy boots encouraged but not required).
3. Denver, Colorado
Sometimes, the best way to relax before your big day is to reconnect with nature, and what better place to do that than Colorado? Denver has the perfect mix of outdoor activities for the nature-loving bride and city happenings with a scenic backdrop. If you visit in the winter, get your cutest (and warmest) puffer on and hit the slopes. If the snow is long gone when you visit, don’t worry—there are plenty of scenic hiking trails to explore. After a long day outdoors, kick back with a drink at one of Denver’s many breweries, then continue the celebrations while barhopping around Larimer Square, Lower Downtown, or South Broadway. For a chic boutique hotel experience, we recommend staying at The Maven. Located in the heart of downtown, it’s just a short walk away from shopping, restaurants, and bars.
4. Newport, Rhode Island
The smallest state in the U.S. may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of bachelorette party destinations, but if you’re looking for that upscale East Coast vibe, Rhode Island can’t be beat. Spend your days strolling along the Cliff Walk, hitting the water on a sailing tour, indulging in to-die-for seafood, and sipping on crisp white wine. For luxurious accommodations, consider staying at Castle Hill Inn, rumored to be a favorite spot of actress-turned-princess Grace Kelly and home to stunning views of the rocky coastline.
5. Asheville, North Carolina
Although it may not be the trendiest bachelorette party destination, this stunning mountain town offers no shortage of things to do. For the outdoorsy bride, there’s hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains or tubing down the French Broad River. If your group loves a good brew, Asheville is known for its craft beer scene, with tons of great breweries to choose from. Asheville’s charming downtown also has plenty of cute shops for some retail therapy and a vibrant foodie scene for delicious eats. To be close to all the action, we recommend staying at the Grand Bohemian Hotel, which has luxurious rooms and an amazing downtown location.
6. Miami, Florida
If a warm-weather bachelorette party is what you’re after, Miami is one of the best options out there. With gorgeous beaches, incredible nightlife, world-class cuisine, and partying from sun up to sun down, a tropical-esque bachelorette in Miami is always a good idea. For a true Miami bachelorette experience, stay at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, a sprawling luxury hotel with its own nightclub, adults-only day pool club, and incredible beach views.
7. New Orleans, Louisiana
For less R&R and more on-the-go fun, head on down to New Orleans. In the heart of the French Quarter, you can spend your days on tours, eating delicious Cajun and Creole food, touring historical landmarks, and, of course, barhopping. At night, head to Frenchmen Street for live jazz music and dancing without the craziness of Bourbon Street (although everyone should experience it at least once!). While in NOLA, we recommend staying at an Airbnb—one with a pool or hot tub is preferable. Especially during the summer months, the weather can get pretty hot and humid, so having a place to cool off is clutch.
8. Las Vegas, Nevada
Las Vegas has been a long-time favorite destination for bachelorette parties, and it’s easy to see why. The Vegas strip offers partying that pretty much never stops, nearly any type of food you can imagine, and endless entertainment—from gambling and gaming to shows and experiences. If you’re in the mood for a true party, Vegas has it all. Stay at a hotel/casino combo on the strip so you never miss a beat, or opt for an Airbnb a bit more removed to serve as your “quiet” place if you need a break.
9. Palm Springs, California
Looking for laid-back vibes, warm temps, luxurious poolsides, and endless Instagram-worthy places to check out? Head on over to Palm Springs in the Sonoran Desert of SoCal. Indulge in shopping along Palm Canyon Drive, explore Coachella Valley, and take in the gorgeous views. While in Palm Springs, stay at the colorful Saguaro hotel (you’ve probably seen it on Instagram). It’s everything you could want in all its quintessential retro-desert hotel glory.
10. Reno, Nevada
Reno is an excellent alternative to Las Vegas with similar desert vibes and ample gaming. The city is home to award-winning spas, luxe pools, rocking nightlife, and abundant beautiful scenery. Located along the Nevada and California border and a little more than 20 miles from Lake Tahoe, it’s the ideal place to take a break from the pampering and partying and enjoy some stunning mountains and seasonal sports! Be sure to hit the Truckee Riverwalk District in downtown Reno for a delicious dinner and views of the river running straight through town.
11. Orlando, Florida
Dig Disney? Us, too. Where else would you want to reconnect with your inner child before you do arguably one of the most adult things in your whole life (getting married, that is)? For a wholesome bachelorette party with lots of fun mixed in, Orlando is a great choice. Book a stay at one of the park’s resorts for the full Disney experience (which, of course, should include eating and drinking around the world in Epcot!), or pick a hotel in the heart of Orlando and enjoy all that downtown has to offer. The Universal theme parks are another great option for some straight-from-the-movies rides and shows. Our recommendation? Do it all.
12. Napa Valley, California
Wine lovers, this one’s for you! North of another great bachelorette destination, San Francisco, the Napa Valley wine region is home to vineyards that look like they’re straight out of a travel magazine (because they are!). Spend your days sipping wine while touring wineries and your evenings enjoying incredible outdoor dinners under twinkling lights with your best friends. For luxurious, laid-back vibes near downtown Napa, the Candlelight Inn is a gorgeous bed and breakfast to call home for your stay.
13. Atlantic City, New Jersey
It’s not Vegas, but Atlantic City is still an excellent option for a fun-filled bachelorette party. Plus, it has one thing Vegas doesn’t: beaches! In Atlantic City, New Jersey, you can get your fill of sun and sand plus gaming, gambling, world-class restaurants, clubs, and more. It truly has it all! There are so many great hotel options, including large, luxe resorts and casinos. Or you can opt to stay just over the bridge in a beautiful rented beach house in Brigantine.
14. Nashville, Tennessee
Grab your Daisy Dukes and finest cowboy boots and head on down to Nashville, Tennessee, for your bachelorette party. A super popular spot for bachelorette and bachelor parties alike, Nashville has a high-energy atmosphere, amazing restaurants and bars, unique art and murals, and incredible live music. There’s something fun to do literally everywhere you turn! While in Nashville, stay at the Westin Nashville, just steps away from everything downtown has to offer.
15. Charleston, South Carolina
Soak up some Southern charm in Charleston, South Carolina. Between afternoons at Folly Beach, bar hopping, breweries, incredible brunches, and fancy dinners, you’ll find no shortage of things to do in Charleston. The city is also home to tons of history, beautiful gardens, mansions to tour, and more. For accommodations, The Restoration is one of our favorite Charleston hotels and an excellent option for bachelorette parties. Book a suite so your group will have plenty of room to spread out during your Charleston bachelorette party.
