Emilee Janitz

Emilee’s expertise lies in combining strategy and creativity to craft content that is authentic, relatable, and impactful. She is a brand strategist, a ghost writer, and a self-proclaimed corporate messaging nerd who enjoys dedicating her own personal byline to clothing. She views fashion as an approachable creative outlet for all and is passionate about inspiring and empowering women to have fun and be fearlessly inventive with their own personal styles.

After graduating from Syracuse University with her Master of Science in Public Relations, Emilee immediately joined the corporate affairs team at Chobani where she honed her skills as a brand communicator. Prior to joining Terakeet she discovered lifestyle journalism as a way to channel her creativity and connect meaningfully with other women around the globe. As a freelancer, she’s had the opportunity to work with top lifestyle brands across the fashion, beauty, fitness, family, and home spaces. Emilee also has a B.S. in both Communication Studies and Studio Art.

When she’s not writing (or thinking about writing) Emilee is probably spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs. She enjoys playing piano, being outside as much as possible, and reading any historical fiction or fantasy novel she can get her hands on. Her favorite food is pasta in any and all forms.
