Madeline has always had two great loves, fashion and writing, so when it came to deciding on a career, she always knew she wanted to marry them together and go into fashion journalism. From scouring slideshows of photos from Fashion Week to devouring every fashion magazine under the sun, she has always closely followed the industry, and making a career of it has been a dream come true.

Madeline has more than five years of experience in fashion journalism. After spending time in New York City as a fashion intern at Cosmopolitan, Madeline joined The Everygirl as an intern in 2018. Since then, she’s spent time as an editorial assistant, copy editor, and associate editor, which eventually grew into taking over the fashion section in its entirety. In 2023, she took over the beauty section as well to give it the same versatility, diversity, and trend forecasting that the fashion section had become known for.

Now, Maddie oversees all of the fashion and beauty content on The Everygirl, from pitching to the time of publishing. She is always looking out for new trends, viral products, and breaking pop culture moments to be featured on The Everygirl’s site.

If Madeline isn’t working, you can probably find her running down Chicago’s lakefront path, reading a psychological thriller, volunteering at an animal shelter, or watching a documentary on a conspiracy theory. If you want to get into a debate with her, try to tell her that The Silence of the Lambs isn’t the best movie ever made.
