Personally, I think November gets a bad rep. Sure, it’s the start of daylight savings time, and the first time the sun sets at 4 p.m. I will literally start crying in the street on my commute home. Yes, September and October are slightly easier to romanticize, what with the back-to-school and Halloween of it all. But all of that aside, November is truly one of the coziest months of the entire year. It’s just chilly enough outside that I can wear my fuzziest sweaters, it’s peak soup season, and I know that I’m going to spend the month feeling extra grateful for my family and friends. What more could a girl want?
This Baggy Dad style from Levi’s is a tried-and-true favorite our team swears by, made famous by an effortlessly cool fit and PJ-like comfort.
Well, as it turns out, some cozy November tech backgrounds are just what’s needed to set the mood! Just because November is the middle child between our much-hyped October and December tech backgrounds doesn’t mean we don’t have some amazing imagery pulled together for you this month. We’ve pulled together a collection of November desktop wallpapers and fall-themed tech backgrounds that capture all the cozy vibes of the season. We’ve got books, falling leaves, knit sweaters and socks, apple cider donuts, lots of coffee, and, of course, some Gossip Girl quotes. Choose your favorite November aesthetic wallpapers, get cozy, and settle in with the perfect November tech wallpapers for what is, in my opinion, the most under-hyped month of the year.

Free Wallpaper Backgrounds
For years, The Everygirl has been releasing monthly tech backgrounds to give your home screen a put-together, refreshed vibe. We include options for all devices, so you have choices for your phone screen, desktop or laptop, and your iPad or tablet. If you love having a calendar right on your screen to easily glance at throughout the month, we’ve got you covered—several of our backgrounds feature calendars, with options for a Sunday or Monday start. We also provide second-screen options for each tech background, so if you’re working on two screens (like a laptop and a monitor at the same time), you can have two of the same design.
When do The Everygirl Tech Backgrounds come out?
The Everygirl Tech Backgrounds are usually available three days before the first of each month to give you plenty of time to change your screens, but this month we released them even earlier!
How to Download Tech Backgrounds
To download from one of our monthly tech background selections, scroll through the article to find one that you love. Then, click the link to the size you wish to download to access the image and download it to your desktop.
Pro Tip: You Don’t Have to Choose Just One!
If you’re adding your tech backgrounds to a Mac, you can have your tech backgrounds rotate as often as you want. Start by downloading all of the tech backgrounds you want and adding them to one folder. Then, navigate to the wallpaper tab in your Mac settings and scroll down to the button that says “add folder.” Once it’s added, click the “rotate” button and frequency with which you want to shuffle the images.
Backgrounds Without Words
Last month, we received lots of requests for backgrounds without text or calendars on them. We’re so happy that you love the pictures chosen and are excited to let you know that “Second Screen” is a wordless option available for desktops.
Something about this picture makes me want to grab a coffee and walk mitten-in-mitten with my lover to sit on this picturesque bench among the falling leaves. November is a romantic month, and this tech background gets it. If you’ve always wondered what it’s like to have a Stars Hollow-like view every single day, this is the tech background for you.

Let it be known: Bows are still in this fall and winter, and now they’ve made their way to our tech backgrounds. This is one of those tech backgrounds that I just know I’m going to download and continually return to throughout the year because it’s so timeless and cute. This one is for our girly girls who will be wearing a bow in their hair for Thanksgiving dinner this year.

Pause—this might just be up there for one of my favorite tech backgrounds of all time. I mean, this is basically my November bucket list in illustrations. If I don’t wear a cozy sweater, pull on comfy socks, and settle in for a sweet treat and bevvy among the falling leaves this November, something has gone seriously wrong. I have no words other than this background is irresistible.

We’ve all wanted to have that “city girl romanticizing late autumn” lifestyle, and this tech background absolutely delivers. Picture this: You’re running a few minutes late for work through the falling leaves, reading on the train, and spending your weekends lounging in coffee shops with your friends. Manifest it by downloading this collage!

Hills and cliffs are clearly the it-girl accessory this fall. I’m kidding, of course, but if you want to hold onto the greenery a little longer, this is the tech background you should download in November. The gloomy fog and endless skyline in this image make me want to take a cold-weather hike with a cup of hot apple cider waiting for me at the end.

Not to get all sappy, but I think the fact that we get to spend an entire month just thinking about what we’re grateful for is a huge privilege. November gets me all misty-eyed because of things like the items on this bucket list: spending time with loved ones, feeling grateful for every single day, and reluctantly signing up to run on Thanksgiving morning only to have the best time. Happy November, y’all.
