Good morning, dear readers! We hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. As we enter our fourth month here at The Everygirl, we’d love it if you could help us out by providing some feedback. We want to know what you’ve liked, what you don’t like, what you’d like to see more of, etc. Is this site what you were expecting? If not, what would you like to see? We want to make sure we are delivering on the comprehensive, fun resource we promised, and would love to hear what you have to say. After all, this site is for you!

So if you want to procrastinate starting the work week a little longer, please click here and fill out our quick 10-question survey! We’d be oh so grateful. And if you have comments, suggestions, or questions that are not asked in the survey, feel free to leave it in the comments! Thanks!

Y’all are doing such a great job! I haven’t been able to find another website that comes close to yours! Truly unique and has become a regular read for me. Daily inspiration for a young professional with lofty goals! Thanks for creating such a great space for women of all ages to come together to express themselves.

    Happy 4 month theEverygirl!

Hm…I just found this site like three weeks ago. I would love to see some more info on hobbies/interests. You guys do a great job of supporting those of us who aren’t sure about careers. I think sometimes just spotlighting cool hobbies or little things that anyone could try (hiking, sewing, scrapbooking, biking…maybe even WAY cooler things than that) would help serve as inspiration as well. What do Everygirls do in their free time? It’s something I’m trying to figure out.

Also, more personal reflections. What can someone who is in a place the Everygirl wants to be in journal about? What can they tell us? How did they know and when did they know things were going right (or terribly wrong) to get to the place they’re in today?

Lastly…maybe more diverse pictures of women. You know…all shapes and colors. I notice the contributors, and the pictures of brides, and well…I sort of get the feeling I’m not supposed to be on this site. Lol.

    And lastly, lastly…movies and music!!

Although you have made great points, I have to politely disagree with one of your last comments.

I think the women that run this site do an incredible job of showing us all sort of women from different areas, social groups, and careers. Give them time. I am sure they have much more up their sleeve. I mean, they can only do so much in 4 months.

Great point about the personal reflections. I would love to see direct point of view from different writers on multiple topics. Love, careers, hobbies, life choices, etc.

        I second that. Agreed! :)

It’s great that you feel represented! :)

I enjoy viewing the career features.  They do a great job.  However, ‘every-girl’ is a very strong statement if there aren’t different races of successful women!  Black, Asian, Indian, etc.  Now that’s every-girl!

I think the women that run this site do an incredible job of ‘showing us
all sort of women from different areas’, social groups, and careers.
Sorry Margaret, you and I know that’s not true!

Yes. I agree that there have not been articles written about Black, Asian, Indian, etc. up to this point but I don’t believe that is a carefully constructed decision on their part. Finding wonderful women to write about is not difficult- they are everywhere. Time is almost certainly their biggest issue.
I do not know the lovely ladies that have created this site but I can gaurantee that they are in no way discriminating or leaving anyone out. I can’t wait for more articles about strong, determined women- no matter their skin color.

I would like to see more ethnicity.  I’m sure you stand by what you say ‘Every-girl’.
