Fresh Tips On How to Flaunt Your Mini, Midi, and Maxi

  • Copy by: Jess Keys

The weather has finally turned a corner, and we’re looking for any excuse to toss our jeans aside and pull on our favorite skirts and dresses (especially considering the comeback of our favorite skirt of the moment —the Midi)! Though these classic hemlines never truly go out of style, it seems the ways to wear them are ever-changing. Here are some of our favorite ways to rock your frock—at any length!

Pair your favorite mini with like-colors on top (preferably bright ones!) for a monochromatic look that would make Cher Horowitz swoon.

Button Up (or the Lack Thereof!)
Instead of a jacket, throw on a lightweight button-up blouse. It’s a great alternative to a light jacket, and adds some additional texture. The long sleeves will balance out the shortness of your mini!

Get Graphic
You know those occasions when you’re not sure what to wear? To ensure you’re neither underdressed nor overdressed, rock your favorite graphic tee with a dressier midi skirt for that perfect “in between” look.

The midi is perhaps the most classic of all skirts, which is why we love them in one of the most classic of all colors—light pink! Layer on the neutrals to achieve this head-to-toe look that makes our hearts flutter! Add some edgy earrings or an ear cuff to keep things modern.

If you’re bored with the same old boho maxi look, put on some strappy, chunky heels, pull hair into a high ponytail, and you’ve gone from hippie to haute in less than five minutes.

Summer crop
Go for a crop on top! Feel free to show a little skin — this look is especially chic with a high-waisted maxi!
