After binging Queer Eye Season 1 and 2, I became obsessed w/ the classic Chelsea boot Tan put in every man's closet... and realized I needed a pair for myself! It's a great comfortable option you can dress up or down, and goes with pretty much anything!
If you're shopping for a man in your life – dad, brother, in-laws, cousins, husbands, anyone – joggers are a fail-proof, crowd-pleaser. This guy's go-to weekend pant will take them from lounging to working out to cozying up for movie binges all season long.
I know I’m not the only one who enjoys a night in by the fire with a glass of wine and a good movie. One item that’s essential (at least for me) is a warm and cozy throw. I love fur throws and they’re unquestionably a little luxury. This fur throw is one of the prettiest I’ve seen thus far, so it’s at the top of my list this year.
The line of Fresh face masks are amazing – I’ve used a few and love them! I’m giving this one to one of my best friends. They come in two sizes, starting at $25! Winter months can be hard on your skin, so face masks are always a great go-to, and this one is a favorite.
My heat in my apartment is ~ malfunctioning ~ more often than it's working, so every second I spend at home is spent wrapped up in about one million layers. I have an old ratty pair of slippers that I've basically worn to death — so these bad boys look like exactly what my poor, freezing feet need. I don't believe in spending a fortune on shoes you'll only ever wear in your own home — but you (and I) do deserve to feel a little pampered!!
My frat star little brother turned 21 this year — and he's been having a lot of fun experimenting with drinks that didn't come out of a trash can or a dirty shot glass. He's about to graduate college and start furnishing a (kind-of) adult apartment, so I wanted to combine his current self (cocktails) with his future self (mature guy with cool apartment). This set fit the bill!!
There is no slipper that tops the ugg slipper. Not only are they so soft, but they will last you for years to come. I now HAVE to buy myself a pair because I gifted some to my husband last year and I feel worried for the future of our relationship if I spend another year wearing them/moving them around the house.
As a new mom (!!!), everyone keeps telling me how important it is to incorporate small acts of self-care into my crazy new routine. This set allows me to do something nice for my (very tired) self — without feeling like I'm sacrificing time with my sweet baby Zachary.
My mom is my best friend — but we unfortunately currently live across the country from each other. If we lived closer, I have no doubt that we'd spend a lotttt of time sipping coffee or tea together and chatting. While we can't do that in person as often as we'd like, giving a mug as a gift is aaaalmost like sharing a cup together — and hopefully it'll make her think of me every morning (lol).
I just can't resist a good face mask, especially one that has the potential to reverse my horribly dry winter skin. PLUS, how pretty is the packaging? It does not belong in your drawer or your makeup bag, it belongs on your vanity or your Instagram page, for all the world to see.
Grandmas are the best--they bake us cookies, knit us scarves, and give us lots and lots of love. So they deserve the best! My grandma loves to cook, so I wanted to get her something special that will be useful, but looks pretty when she entertains (she's a badass entertainer!). This cutting/serving board is chic, functional, and so her style!
This cult cream (or crème, as the fancy ass among us say) supposedly transforms your nails from scraggly to Beyoncé in one use. There are so many 5 star reviews for this product that it's basically its own galaxy. Since my nails are a registered disaster zone, I am treating myself.
I’m forever a jeans and gray v-neck kind of girl, but come winter, that’s no longer very practical. Of course, stubborn as I am, I hate to give up my uniform, so adding warm, cardigan-style sweaters to my closet is a must. This one could top any outfit, and the slim sleeves add polish to what could otherwise overwhelm my small frame. Plus, it’s in my signature gray.
My sister and I are big fans of natural skincare, and in these dry months, extra hydration is a must. This is fun, splurgy gift set is the perfect way for her to try a brand she hasn’t yet tried. And, the fact that she wouldn’t buy it for herself makes it a great gift.
So it’s a new-year-resolution-started-early of mine to take better holistic care of myself, mainly prompted from noticing how much dang Advil I take when I get a headache, or backache, or any malady at all. Diffusing essential oils an amazing way to adjust everything from body to mood, plus it makes your house smell seriously amazing – it’s an investment in my self care and home decor, which I love.
My younger sister is in college and living in a dorm and not allowed to have candles (yes, you can pray for her). This reed diffuser is the perfect solution to keep her tiny shared space smelling fresh all day long. Plus, she’s got great taste when it comes decor and I know she’ll love this as an accent piece to her living space or bedroom. You’re welcome, Laura.
Ever since our lovely managing editor for The Everymom, Rachel, described this robe as the reason she gets out of bed every morning, it’s been at the top of my Christmas list. I love wearing my robe around the house to be extra cozy, and this one is the softest I’ve ever seen.
My little sister is a freshman in college, and god knows that school can take a toll on your skin. Between class, finals, and cold Wisconsin weather, I want to give her something that will give her skin some TLC whenever she needs it. These masks are super hydrating and soothing, so they were the perfect fit!
